This arrangement needs a great work on positioning to be performed. There is firstly the rhythmic male ostinato then melody and vocal accompaniment overlay it. Marjolaine Ott was born 1962 and studied to become a flutist. She is the choirmaster of the Chorale des 7 Tempêtes, Paris, since 1995. Among other songs, she harmonized Gainsbourg’s “Couleur café” for them. She takes part in singing workshop Turbulents and is a choirmaster as well as playing the flute in several ensembles like Jefira, Unlimited and Rumbanana.
