This is a recent Christmas carol, not very well-known yet. The harmony is very easy and can easily be performed by choirs with a Christmas repertoire that has to be quickly ready. Lyrics are based on a popular song. They are spontaneous and simple, even a little bit naïve. The spelling is free, like in many popular songs (cf. “courre” for instance).
