Traditionnel - Chant de Noël du XVIè siècle - arrangement SATB de Thierry Escaich
Thierry Escaich arranged this very old carol for the choir ARSYS Bourgogne conducted by Pierre Cao. Thierry Escaich is a famous contemporary composer and organist. He won three Victoires de la Musique and created an amazing version faithful to the original version. He alternates homophonic and imitating parts, so the piece still has the Christmas naive atmosphere. Keys alternate with modes with free harmonies. This work is published in collaboration with the Centre de Documentation pour l’Art Choral — Liaisons Arts Bourgogne.
