Apollinaire's well-known poem evokes nostalgia and the loss of a loved one. The melody can of course be entrusted to a soloist or a women's ensemble, but the ambitus - from low A to high E - can also be performed by an experienced children's choir.
The piano part will be assigned to a confirmed player.
