This is the manuscript of “Le jeu de Daniel.” This is a liturgical drama from the 13th century. The manuscript was transcribed and adapted by Anne-Marie Deschamps. There is a constant melodic innovation; every melody is only used once, except for the acclamation “Rex in aeternum vive” which is based on the melody of coronations. It is written in several styles.
