“Le Paradis Perdu” is the first section of the carol’s trilogy. This is an artistic representation with narrators, soloists and three-or-four unaccompanied mixed voice choirs. The text was adapted by Éric Noyer and based on the beginning of “Genesis” and “Jeu du Paradis” an anonymous text from middle age. The sheet music lasts about 30 minutes.
This is the story of the human representation of time, the founding myth of Judeo-Christian culture.
