This is an Apachean traditional tale intended for three mixed voice choirs, narrators and percussion. It lasts about 45 minutes. The story begins during an everlasting winter. Ombre Errante is an old American Indian. He and his warriors search for a thing the Grand Esprit has lost. Their mission seems to be impossible but after overcoming many obstacles, the tribe will discover a new species: bison (ton-ton-ka).
